EnterpriseDB (EDB), the leading provider of enterprise-class Postgres products and database compatibility solutions, today announced that Narotam Relwani has joined the company as vice president of global services, reporting to Marc Linster, senior vice president, products and services. Relwani will have global responsibility for all programs that ensure customer success with EDB products.

As interest in Postgres continues to increase globally, organizations are looking for an enterprise partner to help successfully deploy, manage and expand their databases. As the world’s largest Postgres software and services provider, EDB has experienced significant demand for its Postgres Plus Advanced Server database as well as professional services and training to help ensure organizational success. The addition of Relwani as a vice president is part of EDB’s expansion to support a growing customer base and ensure the strategic counsel and other resources are in place as the company grows in the long term.

“Our customer base is expanding their use of Postgres and as their deployments increase across the organization, they have a greater need for strategic counsel, implementation support and training,” said Ed Boyajian, CEO of EnterpriseDB. “Narotam has great experience leading large teams dedicated to ensuring customer success and is a terrific addition to our management team.”

Relwani brings more than 12 years of leadership experience in growing services and scaling operations within high-growth software companies. Most recently, Relwani was vice president of product management and enablement at Experian. There, he was responsible for driving the growth and strategy for global enterprise marketing technology products.

Relwani previously ran the post-sales business for the French marketing technology provider Neolane from 2009 until its acquisition by Adobe in 2013. Part of the company’s early leadership team, he was charged with jumpstarting the post-sales business in the U.S. and was responsible for professional services, training and other customer programs. Relwani has also worked with other high-growth technology companies managing and leading services organizations that include Unica (acquired by IBM) and edocs (acquired by Siebel Systems) and a stint in the UK.

“EDB’s growth and future potential for its Postgres Plus software are impressive,” said Relwani. “I wanted to play an active role in the customer programs that ensure users succeed as EDB continues to grow.”
